Dreamy Little Worker

flowers

I’m busy working toward my dream of seeing my book published.

I am writing and editing and pitching and querying and editing and writing and reading and pitching.

I believe in this book.

I believe it has great potential.

I believe it needs work.

I believe it’s pretty dang good.

I believe it will be published.

It’s overwhelming, all the work that goes into making a dream come true.

But in the end….

While I keep working, please, please, please visit my friend Jenni’s website. She’s the one who took that spectacular photo of the yellow flowers.

Don’t you just want to reach right into the screen and pluck that gorgeous flower?

Jenni and her family are continuing on their year long journey around the United States.

Her pictures are inspired, but even more inspiring?

They are chasing their dream.

Do you have a dream you’re chasing?

  1. Love your dreams, gals. And I love you1

I just wanted to stop in and say I did finally finish reading the Screwtape letters, like you recommended. I picked it up and pushed through, and I was surprised at the end. I mean, it makes sense it would end that way, but I guess I was too caught up in the amazing commentary that I didn’t think about where the storyline would go. I’m glad I did, and I’m glad I got that extra push from you to pick it up again.

I’m also in the middle of querying and trying to get a book published … but it’s a YA Sci-fi/Fantasy – nothing like your book. The bits and pieces you’ve put on your blog have been incredible! I can’t wait to read your book, and I want to give a copy to my father-in-law.

    • Oh yay! Screwtape Letters, I know…it’s amazing and kind of blows your mind over and over doesn’t it? So glad you enjoyed reading it.

I’m amazed when people write YA novels, honestly. I would love to but I just don’t even know where to begin. I’m afraid I’d end up with something terribly corney like “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.”

      *shudder*

      Thanks, Spring!

  3. Thanks for the love! You have really great timing because I’m working on a blog post featuring nothing but wildflower photos. You and I must have ESPN or something.

    Miss you big time!

    • hehehe…you said ESPN. 🙂

I love your flower pictures! And your Yosemite pictures, and those pictures of sequoias. Basically everything you do with a camera makes me happy.

Miss you! I really wish I was there to see what you’re seeing!!!
