Sloan, I can't believe how big you have grown this summer. You are so tall and SLIM! I love your 'first day of school' picture. I'm so glad you are excited about being in Kindergarten, and I can't believe you are getting to ride a bus. I rode one when I was in school. Sloan, I'm so excited for your teacher. She has so many fun days ahead of her with you in her class! I know you will study hard, listen carefully to your teacher, and obey everything she tells you to do! You take a single simple word, and manage to put so much emotion into it. That last line about your boy inside the belly of the bus....such a perfect way to describe what we, as parents, are feeling. I remember when Chase got onto the bus and drove away that first time to kindergarten.....you feel like you are placing your child into strangers hands, it is such a milestone in life!!
